Artificial leather is made from various formulations of PVC and PU, processed through foaming or coating on a textile or non-woven fabric base. It can be manufactured according to different requirements for strength, color, gloss, and patterns. It features a wide variety of colors, good waterproof performance, neat edges, high utilization rate, and a price that is relatively cheaper than genuine leather. However, the vast majority of artificial leather cannot achieve the feel and elasticity of genuine leather. Its cross-section reveals tiny air bubbles, the fabric base or thin film of the surface, and dry artificial fibers.
